We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than The Chantrelle. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely incredible—our guests are still talking about how amazing every course was. The service was outstanding, with every staff member being professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire day. The day-of wedding coordination was flawless. Everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy our wedding without worrying about the details. It was clear that the team is experienced, organized, and genuinely cares about making your day perfect. If you’re looking for a venue to trust with the biggest day of your life, look no further. The Chantrelle is, in our opinion, the best wedding venue in Thunder Bay. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

Kathleen and her team are hands down one of the best in the city when it comes to weddings! All of our back and fourth emails and planning made for an incredible day! We really appreciated the ease of access that we had with Kathleen and it helped to ease out minds having that flow of communication. The day of Kathleen was there checking in on everything and making sure that we were happy with how the day was running. The food was out of this world unreal! Everything was impeccable and mouthwateringly delicious. We could not get over the portions for the entrées and our guests were happy and stuffed! The bar tenders were wonderful and kept our guests happy and hydrated all night long! With the new covid regulations in place the chanterelle team was super in having someone at the door checking confirmation of vaccinations and kept the flow for entry seamless. Having security at the door throughout the night also helped keep our minds at ease with everything! Thank you Kathleen and the fantastic Chanterelle team!

We recently had our wedding at The Chanterelle. We had postponed from 2020 due to the pandemic and Kathleen and the team at the Chanterelle were so wonderful and accommodating. They made the whole process of constant ups and downs as easy and seamless as could be. They swiftly and easily accommodated an offsite catered reception and the food was truly amazing. I have had so many guests tell me it was the best food they’ve ever had (not an exaggeration). Thomas and Toby were so fun behind the bar and definitely helped keep the party going! Many thanks to the Chanterelle for dreaming up their outstanding Mother’s Day boxed Brunch. From the lovely sprig of babys breath on the box to the outstanding biscuits and muffins, sausage patties, rich parfaits, jams and Creme Fraiche, the flavours and combinations had the taste and feel of a high end cafe. To sum it up in one word….PERFECTION!

My partner and I were absolutely thrilled to have our wedding at the Chanterelle. The space is elegant yet contemporary and comfortable, whether you want the intimacy of the lounge or the charm of the spacious ballroom. The food from the Tomlin is fantastic and sure to satisfy, earning rave reviews from all our guests. The staff were so professional and accommodating, helping us to tailor our event to work within the public health requirements for gatherings during COVID 19. We had an incredible wedding and the Chanterelle played a pivotal role in making memories we will cherish forever. If you are looking for a venue for a truly magical wedding day, the Chanterelle will make your dreams come true.

Maelyn and staff My daughter had a dream and vision for her wedding day as every woman does since they are a little girl. The Chanterelle, you and the staff made her dream reality. The lounge was the perfect setting she was looking for to host the small intimate affair and sure did not disappoint. It was beautifully decorated, softly lit and set with comfortable/casual seating. My daughter and son in- law love the downtown district and all the local entrepreneurs it has. Tomlin is a favourite and oh my… the food!! It was amazing, flavourful and plentiful. Many of the guests had never experienced the Chanterelle and were very impressed. You and your staff did an amazing job with all the details, not a thing overlooked, and she would not change a thing.
